Company history

The company Kovintrade doo Serbia was founded in 2004. Within this period, we have developed into a recognisable, specialised and commercially successful trading company under Slovenian ownership. We have been present in the market for more than 10 years, nevertheless, we are still young, ambitious, successful and have great aspirations for the future. Our business operations are broadly internationalised, with the most important strategic areas being those of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, metallurgical products.

The company Kovintrade doo Serbia is part of the Kovintrade Group which consists of a network of subsidiaries and representations in 11 different countries, while we have 5,500 buyers and 1,500 suppliers in more than 50 countries of the world.

Our largest investment so far has been the modern storage centre in Kragujevac measuring 1800 m2 with cutting centres intended for sales of special tool steel as well as Steel center Belgrade which offers slitting of sheet material and production of welded pipes.
In the future, we would like to expand our offer by including structural materials.

We are well aware that linking, networking, establishing of international partnerships as well as developing of market knowledge are such activities that the competitiveness in the 21st century simply cannot do without. This is why we are proud to say that we have, despite stiff competition, managed to develop into a recognised, reliable and commercially successful international trading company. With our expert knowledge of the markets and by developing quality business relations, we give our business partners high added value.
